Terms — CaseOnMe

CaseOnMe is a review of public information you own, or that an adult who has agreed has asked us to include. This page explains what the service does, what you are confirming when you use it, where your data lives, and how long we keep it.

Please read this before you send anything

These terms and the privacy notice govern the service as it works today. They are not legal advice.

What you confirm

  • This is your own footprint, or you have permission from the adult it is about.
  • The profiles and email addresses you give us are yours, or you are allowed to include them.
  • You will not use the report to harass, stalk, intimidate, dox, discriminate against, screen or keep watch on anyone.

What we look at

  • Public profile pages, public links, public usernames and what a public page shows about itself, inside the scope you gave us.
  • We never log in, get past a privacy setting, open a paywall, work around a “prove you’re human” check, or retrieve deleted content.
  • Anything uncertain is for you to look at and decide. It is not proof that an account belongs to you.

What we record

  • What you submit, what the review found, when your report was opened, and limited security information such as your IP address and browser.
  • We keep those so we can deliver the report, keep the service safe, answer a privacy request, and show what we did and why.
  • Your report avoids showing raw contact details unless they are a genuine public finding inside the scope you gave us.

How long we keep it

  • What you submit, what we collect, the working files and your report are deleted within seven days after report completion.
  • We hold them longer only where there is a documented security or legal reason, and we would tell you.
  • A small record that you consented, paid, and what we decided is kept separately for up to 12 months. To ask for access, a copy, a correction or deletion, email [email protected].

CaseOnMe by S6 Security Labs Terms of Use

Approved by S6 Security Labs. They have not been reviewed by an external lawyer and are not legal advice.

These terms cover what the service does and does not do, who may use it, how payment and our safety checks work, refunds, how long we keep your information, and the limits of what a report can tell you.

Where your information is stored. We serve customers in Australia, but our service is hosted in the European Union, so your personal information is stored overseas. The privacy notice explains that cross-border disclosure and your rights under Australian Privacy Principle 8. Please read it before you submit a request.

Last updated: 2026-07-26. Service provider and seller: S6 Security Labs Pty Ltd ("S6", "we"). ACN: 693 717 510. ABN: 25 693 717 510.

1. Service boundary

CaseOnMe by S6 Security Labs provides a one-off, consent-led public-footprint review. It checks public information from profiles, handles, contact points, and context the requester owns, controls, or is authorised to submit.

CaseOnMe is not a people-search engine, private investigator service, employment/background/credit/tenancy/suitability screening service, stalking tool, doxxing tool, or law-enforcement/intelligence service. It must not be used to make, or to help make, any decision about another person's employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similar eligibility.

2. Eligibility and authority

3. Children and minors

CaseOnMe does not offer dedicated child/minor scanning. Do not submit a minor's accounts for a child-targeted scan, even if you are a parent or guardian. A guardian/family authority basis is for authorised adult household, family, client, or representative scopes, and may only include minor-related public information when it is incidental to an authorised adult/family review. Child-safety concerns should be escalated through appropriate support channels.

4. What CaseOnMe may do

CaseOnMe may record information you submit, public-source results, report access, review decisions, and records needed to provide and secure the service.

Authorised S6/CaseOnMe reviewers, the OpenPrint processing engine, and approved backend services may inspect and process submitted information, collected results, working files, and reports as needed to deliver and validate the service, troubleshoot or debug a case, investigate abuse or security concerns, and meet legal obligations. The PDF password protects the delivered copy; it is not end-to-end encryption and does not prevent this controlled operational access.

We delete case content as soon as the report and any required validation, debugging, or security review are complete. By default, submitted data, collected results, working files, and retained report copies are securely deleted within seven days after report completion. We may retain them longer under a documented manual hold where reasonably required for security, fraud investigation, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Minimal consent, transaction, decision, and audit records may be kept separately under the privacy notice.

4A. Payment, safety checks, and what you are buying

You pay once, before the review runs. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Prices are in Australian dollars. S6 Security Labs Pty Ltd is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged and no part of the price is tax. You will not receive a tax invoice, because there is no tax to invoice; you receive a payment receipt from our payment processor showing the amount you paid.

Paying does not start, widen, or approve the review. A confirmed payment only lets your request enter our first safety check. That check must pass before any public-source review begins, and a second check must pass before any report is released to you. Either check may put your request on hold for a manual safety review, or refuse it. We will not release an unsafe report, and we will not widen the scope of a review to justify a charge.

You are buying one bounded attempt at a review and the report on it — not a particular set of findings. A report that honestly reports little exposure is a completed service.

5. What CaseOnMe will not do

6. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You must not use CaseOnMe or any report to harass, intimidate, stalk, discriminate against, dox, surveil, blackmail, or make consequential decisions about any person. You must not submit another person's private content, credentials, or accounts you are not authorised to review. Candidate links are leads for review, not proof of identity or account ownership.

7. Outputs and limitations

Reports are practical safety reviews of public information. They can be incomplete, contain false positives, miss public material, and depend on public-site availability at the time of the check. A finding is a lead to verify, not a conclusion. You must independently verify important findings before acting on them.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 9, CaseOnMe and all reports are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, or that any account, link, or finding is correctly attributed. You rely on any output at your own risk after independent verification.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee can be limited, our liability is limited (at our option) to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

10. Limitation of liability

Subject to clause 9, to the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, data, goodwill, or for any decision you or a third party make based on a report; and (b) our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific review giving rise to the claim, or AUD 100 where the review was provided at no charge. This clause does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

11. No legal or professional advice; not a background or consumer report

CaseOnMe does not provide legal, safety-planning, investigative, or other professional advice, and a report is not a background check, consumer report, or suitability assessment. If a situation involves a child's safety, domestic or family violence, stalking, threats, legal proceedings, or employment/tenancy decisions, seek appropriate professional help and do not rely on a report as the basis for action.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify S6 against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of a report, or your submission of a person or material you were not authorised to submit.

13. Suspension and refusal

S6 may reject, pause, delete, or refuse requests that appear unauthorised, unsafe, abusive, high-risk, outside scope, illegal, or incompatible with the service boundary.

14. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is available on this page. Material changes will be reflected in a new terms version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms for new requests.

15A. Refunds

Our full refunds and review-timing policy forms part of these terms. We will give it to you before you pay, and provide it again on request. In summary:

Nothing in this clause or that policy excludes, restricts, or modifies the non-excludable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Clause 9 applies.

16. Complaints and disputes

For any concern, contact [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy complaint, you may escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

17. Governing law and venue

Governing law and venue: Australia (New South Wales). Any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in this clause prevents you from exercising rights available to you under mandatory consumer or privacy law in your place of residence.
